Yes, lunch for the conference day only, January 17, 2026, will be provided for registered attendees.

While the conference creates space to invite faith into the overall experience, it is not exclusively a faith-based event. Participation in the Night of Worship is optional and not required for attendees.

Miami is beautiful in January, with temperatures averaging around 70 degrees. Attendees should plan to dress in cocktail or business casual attire for the VIP Kickoff Reception (if attending), business attire for the conference sessions, and casual attire for the Night of Worship. For the volunteer experience, khaki shorts or pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers will also receive a uniform package that includes a polo, pullover, and hat.

The GCU team is working closely with Miami Host Committee for the CFP National Championship. Participation in this volunteer experience requires a separate registration process administered by the Miami Host Committee, which includes a mandatory background check. This process is fully independent of the Game Changers United Sports Industry Conference. Game Changers United, LLC and the Game Changers United Sports Industry Conference assume no responsibility or liability for the outcome of any background checks or related determinations. All inquiries regarding the background check process or results must be directed to the Miami Host Committee. A denial of eligibility to volunteer does not impact a registrant’s ability to attend the Sports Industry Conference. Conference registration fees are non-refundable in the event a registrant is not approved to volunteer.

The GCU team is working closely with the Miami Host Committee, and specific details will be released once the official volunteer registration process is finalized.

The deadline to participate in the volunteer experience is November 26, 2025. Conference registration will remain open after that date (unless sold out); however, anyone who registers after the cutoff will not be eligible to volunteer during the College Football Playoff National Championship weekend events.

While this is an exciting event, at this time there are no volunteer opportunities inside the stadium during the game. In addition, volunteers will not receive complimentary tickets to attend the College Football Playoff National Championship.
