The conference is designed for college students, recent graduates, and emerging professionals who want to connect with sports industry leaders, explore diverse career paths in sports, and expand their professional network. 

Conference registration includes entry to the conference, access to all keynote presentations and panel sessions, the Lunch & Learn Resume Workshop, and a hands-on volunteering opportunity with the Cricket Celebration Bowl. 

Conference registration does not include travel expenses, hotel accommodations, or ground transportation to the conference or Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 

Yes! The GCU team has secured room blocks with options to fit different budgets and preferences. Be sure to check the Travel Page for details. 

Yes! We offer a discounted registration rate for groups of five or more students. To ensure your group receives all important conference updates and information, the designated group leader should complete their registration first. Once the group leader is registered, the remaining students can then be added to complete the groups registration. 

The GCU team is working closely with the Cricket Celebration Bowl and specific details will be released once the official volunteer registration process is finalized. 

Atlanta is chilly in December, with the average high being around 50 degrees. Attendees should plan to dress in business attire for the conference sessions. For the volunteer experience, khaki or black pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers will also receive a uniform package. 

We welcome individuals interested in sharing their knowledge, experience and expertise with our conference attendees. To be considered as a speaker, please complete the conference speaker application when it opens in October. Speaker applications will be reviewed by the conference planning team and selected speakers will be contacted with additional information and next steps.

Please note: At this time, conference speakers are not compensated. Selected speakers will receive complimentary entry to the conference, access to all conference networking opportunities and an invitation to participate in the hands-on volunteer experience with the Cricket Celebration Bowl.

No. Only officially registered conference attendees are permitted to participate in volunteer events or shifts. Additional guests who are not registered for the conference may not accompany you during your volunteer assignment.

Please note: Being selected to participate in the in-stadium volunteer experience does not guarantee a game ticket or seating inside the stadium.

The conference will be held at Kennesaw State University, approximately 45 minutes from Downtown Atlanta and 35 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) under normal traffic conditions.

Because the conference takes place during the Cricket Celebration Bowl Weekend, attendees should plan for increased traffic and potential travel delays. We strongly recommend allowing extra time when traveling to and from the conference and volunteer experiences.

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, your registration may be rolled over to the following year’s conference. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a rollover.
